According to TMZ, Kordell filed for divorce at the Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia on March 22nd. According to the divorce docs, Kordell said that the marriage is "irretrievably broken" and has claimed that the two are separated. While there has been no confirmed reason for the split, rumors have been swirling that the two are splitting because Kordell didn't want Porsha to return to the next season of RHOA and she pulled out, but secretly signed up for another season. Antoher rumors is that Porsha wanted to focus on her career and her family, while Kordell wanted her to just focus on their family.
A source told StraightfromtheA.com that the breakup had been in the works for a while, but Kordell was scared that Porsha would take all of his money.
Porsha released a statement, saying that she is disappointed about Kordell's recent filing for divorce. Porsha's rep said that she had held off filing divorce papers herself because she was committed to the marriage and that Kordell had promised to work on the marriage with her.
Instead, Porsha rep said that Kordell, "misled her and she found out about the filing in the media."

FRIENDS AND CO-STARS REACT
A friend of Porsha's spoke to Us Weekly about the divorce filing. The source said, "She was 100 percent completely blindsided. Friends are trying to contact her but she's not picking up her phone or returning texts. Her whole identity is about being a happy, obedient wife. The other women criticized her for not having a backbone but she was like, 'A real marriage is about honoring your man, your king.' She is really upset."
Another insider has a completely different outlook of Kordell and Porsha's marriage, saying, "She felt like a prisoner . . . She's young enough to find someone that's really right for her now."
Co-star Kenya Moore also released a statement on the news, saying, "Even though @porshadstewart and I have had our differences, I would never want to see anyone in pain. I wish her well."

Vivica A. Fox has revealed her favorite role that she has played in her over 25 years in Hollywood. In an interview with UnLeash'd Magazine, she said, "I would have to say that one of my favorite, and one of the most fun, was my role in 'Independence Day.' I got to come out there singing and dancing and showing I could also rock a pole [laughs]. People were talking and saying, 'Who is that? She is beautiful and she can act and dance and all that!' It was great to have people react like that. I also loved playing Frankie in 'Set It Off.' I got to get gangsta with it so that was a lot of fun!"
She continued, "But my favorite role has been Shante in 'Two Can Play That Game.' That movie meant a lot to me. It was great to show that not all African-American relationships were about beating each other or stuff like that. It was real and it was fun to make. I got to put a lot of myself in that movie. I had a say in the clothes I wore, the cars I drove, the way I talked and walked. I had a lot of input and it made it that much better."
Vivica A. Fox also spoke on learning how to adapt so that she wouldn't be pigeon-holed. She said, "Early on in my career, I decided I wouldn't pigeon hole myself. I wanted to make sure that I was able to be free to do what I want and to expand into different areas. I wanted to produce, act, and sing. I didn't limit myself. I learned to adapt. Wherever this ever-changing industry went, I adapted. For instance, reality TV is a big thing so I adapted my career to incorporate that."
But wait....what about her role as 'Copperhead'in Kill Bill?
ANGELA BASSETT SPEAKS ON 'WAITING TO EXHALE' SEQUEL
In an interview with Huffington Post Black Voices, Angela Bassett gave an update on the Waiting to Exhale sequel. She said, "They're still writing. One of our original producers, from the first 'Exhale,' is on board. So that's a good sign, but they're still working on the script. It's just how to deal with it [Whitney's loss]. And probably the best way to deal with it is just deal with it. It's like what happens in life, in a way. Life is about life in passing, living and dying, winning and losing. So that's what I know so far. Angela is currently filming Black Nativity with Mary J. Blige.
(So does this mean the sequel will open with a funeral scene?)
