KANYE WEST SURPRISES PHARRELL DURING Q&A: Kanye West surprised Pharrell during a Q&A at Design Miami 2012 during Art Basel. Pharrell was promoting his book Pharrell: Places and Spaces I've Been -- when Ye popped up during the interview. Kanye asked the superproducer how did he develop such a high taste level and influenced so many people. P answered, "When you step into this real world of art, design, and fashion, you realize that all great things are made from a functional viewpoint first. And that was one of the greatest lessons I had to learn."

LIL WAYNE PLANS UK TOUR DATES: Lil Wayne is set to go on a month long trek in the UK next year. The tour will kick off in Dublin next March and will end in Amsterdam.

THE GAME DEFENDS CHRIS BROWN: In an interview with The Howard Stern Show, The Game defended his good friend Chris Brown. He said that he tried to talk to him when he was going through the assault incident with Rihanna. He explained, "I did the best that I could counseling him through that and I feel like he made it back OK. And they're back together. I figured they were young and that was one of those Hollywood mishaps. I don't think it will happen again."

TAYLOR SWIFT IS A FAN OF . . . YOUNG BUCK?: In an interview with VIBE Magazine, Taylor Swift revealed that she is a fan of Young Buck. She told the magazine, "I love hip-hop! The first song I memorized was 'Fireman' by Lil Wayne. Ever since then...it's Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, the Game. When I was in high school, my boyfriend and I would drive around and he'd always point to this neighborhood where [rapper] Young Buck lived. We would drive and look at his cars and be like, 'Oh my gawd! Those cars are so cool! I wonder if he's in there!'"

T.I. GIVES BACK TO HIS COMMUNITY: According to Allhiphop.com, T.I. is set to launch the "Give Like A King" campaign this Friday (December 14th) in Bankhead. The rap star has teamed with the Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) to create the information campaign, to galvanize millions of fans, to address the needs of homeless veterans. T.I. said in a statement, "We have to have someone else's back, not just our own."

THE CHILDREN OF N.W.A. AND RUN DMC SHOPPING REALITY SHOW: According to TMZ.com, the children of N.W.A. and Run DMC are shopping a new reality show called The Seeds of Hip Hop. The show was created by music producer D'Extra Wiley -- and the line up is: Dr. Dre's son Curtis Young, Eazy E's son Eric Lynn Wright Jr., MC Ren's son Anthony Dunbar, E'40's son Droop-E and Jam Master Jay's son Jason Mizell. Shooting for the show begins next month

MORE ON BEYONCE'S NEW PEPSI DEAL

Beyonce has revealed more info on her new Pepsi partnership. According to The New York Times, Bey signed the new deal for $50 million and it will include the superstar appearing in a new TV ad, promotional appearances and her likeness will be displayed on limited edition soda cans. Pepsi will also sponsor her upcoming world tour and the will invest in some of the singer's creative projects.

  • Bey told the publication, "Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity."

JUSTIN BIEBER ANNOUNCES MORE CONCERT DATES

Due to overwhelming demand, Justin Bieber is extending his sold-out Believe World tour into 2013 with 30 additional shows. The Believe tour will start up again on June 22 in San Diego, California and will wrap up in Atlanta, Georgia on August 10.

  • $1 from each ticket will be donated to Pencils of Promise, a charity which works to build schools and increase educational opportunities in the developing world.

BRANDY SAYS WHITNEY HOUSTON WAS TORTURED BY VOCAL ISSUES: In an interview with CNN's Piers Morgan, Brandy spoke on Whitney Houston's vocal problems -- which led to the end of her career. Brandy said, "It probably drove her insane. I understand what that feels like.
