THE JACKSONS VS. THE JACKSONS

The Jackson Family absolutely lost their minds this past summer. The drama started back in July when TJ Jackson -- Michael's nephew, reported that Katherine Jackson was missing. Come to find out, Katherine was at a spa in Tucson, Arizona. Paris Jackson then went on Twitter, saying that she didn't know where her grandmother was. She tweeted, "yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now." Reports said that the Jackson siblings wanted Katherine out of town in an attempt to modify custody of MJ's kids and circumvent his will. Both Jermaine and Randy Jackson denied those reports.

This is where things started to get nutty -- reports said that days later Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie and Randy went to Katherine's home to try to remove MJ's kids -- and Janet when she allegedly got into an altercation with Paris. After the incident, the siblings were all reportedly barred from entering Katherine's home and TJ received temporary custody of Michael's three kids.

  • Janet released a statement denying the altercation with Paris and saying that the executors of Michael's will were behind the negative media stories and barring the siblings from Katherine's home -- so that they can isolate anyone who is questioning the validity of Michael's will. She also said that the siblings didn't have any financial motive --they just questioned the validity of the will.
  • In August, Katherine was reinstated as the permanent guardian of MJ's kids -- while her grandson TJ shared responsibilities as co-guardian.

NICKI MINAJ VS. MARIAH CAREY

Back in September, rumors started swirling that Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey were not getting along on the set of American Idol -- which they both denied. When Mariah was confirmed as a judge, reports said that she made it very clear that she wanted to be the only woman on the judging panel -- and she hit the roof when she found out that Nicki was going to be a judge.

Then in October, footage of Nicki Minaj going off on Mariah hit the Internet. Nicki said to Mariah: ["You think I'm playing. Think it's a joke! Think its a f*cking joke?? Say one more disrespectful thing to me- say one more disrespectful thing to me. Off with your head. Off with your head." Randy: "Time out! Time Out!" Nicki: "Don't tell me I'm inadequate . . . Maybe you're inadequate, you're insecure running down your resume every five minutes. Every time you take a shot at me, Imma take it back and if you've got a f-cking problem, handle it. I told them I'm not f-cking putting up with your f-cking highness over there." Mariah "Oh Why, why, why do I have a three year old sitting around me?" Nicki: "I'm not sitting here for 20 minutes and have her run down her resume every five minutes, every day." Mariah: "I couldn't see my kids because you decided to have a little baby fit and go all around the stage." Nicki: "Good! Go! Go see them now, go. You're boring as f--k."]

Nicki claimed that Mariah kept nitpicking at her until she finally exploded. Mariah claimed that Nicki threatened her by saying, "If I had a gun I would shoot her." The alleged threat was not caught on tape. Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe denied that Nicki threatened Mariah. Barbara Walters also spoke on Mariah's behalf, saying that the singer was very concerned that Nicki threatened her with a gun and that Nicki is "unpredictable" and that she has hired extra security.

  • This is when Nicki took to Twitter to tell her side of the story. She wrote, "I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we've had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn. All I do is compliment u. That's not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don't have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady..."
  • Nicki also explained her side of the story on her E! special Nicki Minaj: My Truth.

NICKI MINAJ VS. HOT 97

Back in June, Nicki Minaj was set to headline New York City's WQHT-FM's Hot 97 Summer Jam but pulled out of the show after Lil Wayne insisted. The reason Wayne pulled Nicki out of the show was because Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg said on stage, "I know there are some chicks here waiting to sing 'Starships' later . . . I'm not talking to ya'll right now. F**k that bulls**t. I'm here to talk about real hip-hop sh**. People here to see A$AP Rocky today. People here to see Schoolboy Q on this stage. That's the s**t I represent."

Minaj later tweeted, "Wow. u n***az just f**ked up history. But the President has spoken . . . I go above and beyond for my fans. But won't ever go against wayne's word. What he says goes." She added, "Lawd it's not about WHAT he said, u don't invite some1 to perform, use their name to sell then publicly disrespect."

  • Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flexalso went in on Nicki during the show, saying, "We ain't fu**in' with commercial rappers no more . . . If you lost the fu**in' streets, it's your fault. If you don't go gold, it's your fault."
  • Days later, Nicki had it out with FunkMaster Flex on his show -- but later squashed her beef with him and the radio station.

USHER VS. TAMEKA RAYMOND

Back in August, the custody battle between Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond ended -- and the superstar was awarded full custody of his two sons, three-year-old Naviyd Eli Raymond and 4-year-old Usher Raymond V. This happened just a month after Tameka lost her 11-year-old son Kile. During the custody battle, Usher painted Tameka as an unstable parent, while Tameka claimed that he was in no position to be a parent since he is on the road most of the time. She also claimed that he was a drug user.

Usher was granted full control over all matters concerning the children -- but was ordered to discuss any major decisions with Tameka. Tameka was also granted visitation with the kids for every first third and fifth weekend in the month. Tameka appealed the custody decision.

  • Usher told Oprah gaining full custody: ["You can't imagine how hard it was I couldn't imagine how hard it was which is part of the reason we asked that we not go back to court. It was a personal request that I made to the juidge. A personal request that I made to Tameka that in this time of grievance that she take that moment to deal and let's deal with this later. I even said to her you know in my visitation of Kyle at the hospital." Oprah: "You went to see him?" Usher: "I went to see him yes and while there I said you know this right here is obvious evidence why it's not worth fighting because we are fighting for our children's lives that's all that matters." Oprah: "Were you at the funeral?" Usher: "It hurts me to say, it hurts me to hear the fact that people speculated and said that I wasnt at the funeral because I absolutely was at the funeral, I was at the burial as well."]
  • DEION SANDERS VS. PILAR SANDER

Stuff literally hit the fan between NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders and estranged wife Pilar Sanders this year. In February, Pilar claimed that Deion tried to physically remove her from their home by having his aunt attack her. Both Deion and his aunt Laura denied Pilar's story -- saying that Pilar actually attacked her. After months of going back and forth in the media with cheating accusations, fighting over money, lawsuits against Deion and his daughter Deiondra for slander, etc in April, Pilar was arrested on allegations that she and a friend jumped Deion in front of their two children.

Pilar denied attacking Deion -- saying instead that he brutally attacked her. Deion denied the story, telling Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, ["This has been going on for quite some time. Unfortunately the court [wonders how] two people that are separated and going through a divorce could be in the same house, I don't understand how that would work because it's a very volatile situation. But I've kept my peace. I've honored my children. I can respectfully say my kids have never seen me yell, scream, hate on, call a name or provoke my soon-to-be ex-wife. Never touched her. I was very upset that she came in and decided to show out in front of the kids, as normal, but trust me, and I could put this on my mama, never touched her, never did anything derogatory to her in front of the kids and never will."]

Pilar told reporters as she left jail, "I am innocent. I understand that I have a very little chance at beating a Hall of Fame, two-sport man that everyone seems to love and adore. I am a full-time mom 100 percent for my children and I have just not gotten a fair shake." Pilar also claimed that Deion abused her throughout their marriage.

  • After the incident, Deion was granted temporary custody of their three kids. Deion was also granted a restraining order against Pilar. The judge also ruled that Deion was only acting in self-defense when he injured Pilar during the altercation at the mansion in April.
  • In October, Pilar claimed that Deion had yet to pay child support. Their divorce is still pending.

THE GAME VS. 40 GLOCC

In July, The Game and his entourage jumped rival rapper 40 Glocc at an after party in Los Angeles. The fight was recorded and posted on Worldstar. 40 Glocc responded on Twitter, "Ni--az pulled burners on me to jump me! Lol. It don't get no pussier then that! #ZooLife."

  • In October, 40 Glocc sued Game for unspecified damages for assault and battery over the fight. In his suit, 40 said that the video does NOT show the full story, claiming Game had chased after him with a gun and shouted, "Freeze or I'ma shoot, n*gga." 40 also claimed that he tried to escape, but Game caught up to him, pointed the gun at his chest and told him not to fight back or he would "end it right now."
  • Game also got into with Shyne this year after they rapper dissed Kendrick Lamar's debut album.

50 CENT VS. EVERYBODY

This year -- just like every other year, 50 Cent was in some sort of beef with a few rappers. Back in October, 50 Cent got into a fight with MMG's Gunplay at the BET Hip-Hop awards. Gunplay said in a radio interview that 50 -- along with several bodyguards jumped him outside of the the venue. A few weeks later after the incident, 50 Cent was spotted at a DC bowling alley wearing an MMG chain -- allegedly the one he stole from Gunplay during their fight at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Reports say that 50 also got into an argument with Diddy backstage.

In the same month, 50 Cent also got into a Twitter beef with French Montana. In an interview with Complex, French mentioned 50 when he was talking about avoiding rap beefs, saying, "In general, [even in street sh*t] nobody want to stand next to you if somebody about to shoot you, unless you have a big lick. They [used to] do that with 50 because 50 was the bank. They knew he was going to win. People ain't doing that [anymore] . . ."

50 Cent responded, "French Montana you ain't Sh*t boy. You out your league talking about me you h*e. i read your little interview what the f*cx is you high. French your Sh*t so weak you never had a song by your self-fool."

50 also fell out with his close friend Floyd Mayweather this year. Shortly after 50 Cent tried to make a deal with Manny Pacquiao, rumors started that 50 and Floyd were on the outs. In October, 50 took to Twitter saying that The Money Team was over and he was forming SMS promotions -- since the other half of the money team -Floyd, didn't put the money up for the business.

  • He tweeted, "I can't hang out with Floyd no more, I'm tired of running from manny pacquiao . . . I'm gonna make BIG FLOYD rich. Floyd stop spending your money on h*e's man they don't love you fool . . . MONEY." Floyd responded, "Wayne, Kanye, Ross and Drake are running the rap world . . . Men lie . . . women lie numbers don't lie. Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross, Kanye please help this boy."
  • 50 later said that the Twitter beef was a publicity stunt, but then fessed up in an interview that the beef was very real, because Floyd didn't put up his money for TMT promotions -- a company that Floyd asked 50 to start for him. Instead, Floyd came home from jail and spent money on women and cars.
  • 50 Cent also did some good this year. He squashed his longtime beef with Fat Joe -- and also helped to feed the hungry.

YOUNG JEEZY VS. RICK ROSS AND GUCCI MANE

After years of beef, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross came face to face backstage at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in October. According to MTV News, several sources -- including DJ Drama said that words were exchanged between Ross and Jeezy's entourages -- which led to the fight. Both left the scene unharmed, but there was a lot of pushing and shoving. Jeezy later said about the fight, "I assure you, I can't speak for everybody, but ain't nobody put no hands on me. I can't say that for everybody involved, but ain't nobody touch me."

Gucci Mane rehashed his beef with Jeezy when someone asked his opinion on Jeezy and Ross' beef in an interview. Gucci said, "Ross is a friend of mine, of course Jeezy is not. I don't care about nothing that happened to him." When asked if he would ever squash his beef with Jeezy, he said, "Never. It's respect, walk over here and there gon' be some problems. I ain't got no respect for him. I just did what I have to do."

  • Jeezy responded to Gucci's comments, saying, "Everybody knows that boy retarded, ain't nobody taking him seriously."Jeezy also said that Gucci is just upset that he has yet to collaborate with him after DJ Drama tried to get them to squash their beef back in 2009.
  • Gucci released a new diss record this weekend entitled "Truth." On the track, Gucci claims that both he and Diddy had sex with Jeezy's ex Keyshia Cole.

LIL WAYNE VS. PUSHA T

Back in May, Pusha T released "Exodus 23:1" where he fired off a few lines towards Drake, spitting, "Contract all f*cked up/ I guess that means you all fu*ked up/ You signed to one n*gga, that's signed to another n*gga, that's signed to three n*ggas/ Now that's bad luck." Wayne responded via Twitter, writing, "F*k Pusha t and anybody that love em."

Wayne later released a diss track towards Pusha entitled "Goulish." On "Goulish," Wayne spits, "F*ck Pusha T and anybody that love 'em/His head up his a**, I'ma have to head butt him, gut him." Pusha went on record to say that the song was trash.

In June, during an interview with The Washington Post, Wayne said that he quickly reacted to Pusha's alleged jabs. He explained, "I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction. I don't apologize for it because I'm human. I don't take it back. But there's no beef. Beef is a whole different thing. ... I'll move on."

  • In October, Pusha admitted that his song "New God Flow" was aimed towards Birdman. In an interview with Hiphopwired.com, Pusha said about Lil Wayneand Drake, "Like I said, I have no issue with them, man. I just refuse to be talked about. I take things a certain way. I take interviews in magazines personal and s--t, when you say, 'G.O.O.D Music ain't nothing.' Like, I take s--t like that sensitive."
  • In November, Pusha T took more shots at Wayne and Drake on his verse for Alley Boy's "Favorite Rapper." On the song, he spits, "How real is he if he been paying for his blood ties. He blood in, he blood out...at a blood drive."

MEEK MILL VS. CASSIDY

Back in July, Meek Mill and fellow Philly rapper Cassidy engaged in a little Twitter beef. The two had history together: they would spit freestyle together in 2009 when Meek was on house arrest. While Cassidy didn't directly diss Meek, on Twitter, he retweeted several comments from his followers, who had a few things to say about the MMG rapper. One of the tweets said, "How come when @MeekMill got put on mmg he aint do nothing wit @CASSIDY_LARSINY? They my two favorite rappers."

Meek got wind of the tweets and wrote to Cassidy, "U on some clown sh*t right now. Just say it 2 my face..."

Then in November, the two went at it once again on Twitter. Meek said that he would like to see Cassidy and Murda Mook battle it out -- but people said that they would rather see Cassidy and Meek battle. Meek tweeted, "Why n*ggas Tryna pump Cassidy 2 battle I said I wanted him and Mook 2 battle...a battle I wanted 2 c..he gotta get poppin first 2 battle me!"

  • Cassidy responded, "F*ck all this tweeting and sh*t.. Put that sh*t in a rap, battle me, and get your f*cking head bit off.. I been popping for over a decade! N*ggas get 1 year in and get carried away..."
  • Meek then fired more shots, "You can't pave the way wit 'come 2 my hotel.' And ya swagg corny as sh*t u don't even represent Philly n*ggas right n*gga. beanie Siegel was the only n*gga out in them streets stunting still in da hood!"
  • Cassidy then released "Diary of A Hustla" -- which everyone thought was a Meek Mill diss song -- but he claims it wasn't. Cassidy is still up to battle Meek, but Meek has not responded.
